- Tele-Rehabilitative services (Virtual Care): Our physiotherapists can provide virtual care from across Canada to residents of Ontario
- Direct Billing: We offer direct billing with select insurance providers in our region. Please check your extended health benefits before booking and include this information on your intake form.
- We require a payment on file (credit card or Visa debit) or an e-transfer (on hold) before your first full session. That time is reserved for you.
- We require 24 hours to cancel your session without charge to have sufficient time to fill your space.
- If you have an appointment outside normal hours, your clinician will meet you at the front door just before the scheduled time of your appointment.

Physiotherapy Initial Assessment - Pain, Injury, Rehab
Are you a new patient or returning for a new injury? Please choose this option.
Your initial visit is a one-on-one session with a registered physiotherapist. During this appointment, your therapist will conduct a thorough assessment to understand your unique needs and the root cause of your pain or injury. This includes discussing your health history, current symptoms, and your goals for therapy.
Based on the assessment, we'll work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. This may include a combination of hands-on therapy, exercise, and education to help you on your journey to recovery.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Initial Assessment
Pelvic health physiotherapy is a specialized field that focuses on treating conditions related to the pelvic floor muscles. Our experienced physiotherapists provide compassionate and effective care for a wide range of pelvic health concerns.
We can help you with:
- Urinary Incontinence: Leakage when you cough or sneeze, exercise, walk.
- Bowel irregularities: Constipation or loose, inconsistent stool.
- Pelvic Girdle Pain: Pain in and around the pelvis, hips, groin, or lower back.
- Pelvic Organ Prolapse: Bladder, Uterine or Rectal prolapses.
- Pregnancy and Postpartum: Preparing for birth and recovering from vaginal or cesarean delivery.
- Post-Hysterectomy Post-Surgical Recovery: Rehabilitation following a hysterectomy or urogynecological surgery (sling surgeries)
Our approach is personalized and involves a thorough assessment to create a treatment plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. We use a combination of techniques including education, exercises, breathwork, and manual therapy, to help you regain control and improve your quality of life.

Physiotherapy Follow up Treatments
Choose this option if you’ve already completed an initial physiotherapy assessment at Move Therapeutics. These sessions are treatment follow ups and focus on progressing your treatment plan and continuing your recovery.
Your physiotherapist may use a combination of hands-on treatment, guided exercise, movement retraining, and education to help you move with less pain, build strength, and return to your usual activities.
Treatment may include manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, advice and education, updates and progressions to your home exercise program, therapeutic modalities, and acupuncture when appropriate.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Follow up Treatments
Choose this option if you’ve already completed an initial pelvic health physiotherapy assessment with Move Therapeutics. These follow up treatment sessions focus on progressing your treatment plan and supporting your continued recovery.
Your physiotherapist may use a combination of education, guided exercise, pelvic floor muscle retraining, breathing and core coordination work, and hands-on techniques (when appropriate) to help improve bladder, bowel, pelvic pain, or pelvic organ support concerns.
Treatment may include updates and progressions to your home exercise program, lifestyle and activity modifications, and strategies to help you return confidently to daily activities, exercise, and sport.
